“A chunky ribbed knit — especially if it’s a turtleneck, roll neck, or half-zip neck. Throw it on over a cropped wide or straight leg jeans or a casual trouser with a boot or loafer and it’s very cool in a French fisherman sort of way,” says Ilaria Urbinati, whose clients include Dwayne Johnson, Donald Glover, Rami Malek, James Marsden, Ryan Reynolds, Chris Evans and John Krasinski.

“Suiting is making a strong comeback, and the larger lapel jacket gives it a great statement,” explains Warren Alfie Baker. “I love to pair wider lapel jackets with a high-waisted trouser or pleated trouser to really lean into that vintage suiting trend. You can wear it with a nice, collared dress shirt open to give it a relaxed, sexy feel.”

The Look: Monochromatic
